NMlive 16: Thanks, Roxanne

38Outside had a great look of winter before Spring.

Today, I took the last ride to 73 along 581. It was a great morning, but I knew that I was only going to be in for a half-day. The piece was almost finished, and there were several things, I wouldn’t finish, but that was okay. Tomorrow would be a day of planes, and movement back home, east.

12If only for a few days, a classroom becomes a new home.

23Roxanne said that you could tell a sculptor by their sculpture.

It was amazing to watch people’s dream becoming, and then being transported from dreams into their own sort of beings. The work of an artist takes on its own life, and it is an interesting process to watch akin to a metamorphosis. Working with the class, and especially with our talented teacher and sculptor, Roxanne Swentzell, we see from these shots the relationship of creator to creation.

Thanks, Roxanne.
